AIA has been one of our clients for years and this was our second year providing Audio Visual and Lighting for their presidential inauguration. The previous year it was at the US Institute of Peace. This year they had it at their headquarters in Washington, DC. The challenge was recreating the space and giving the staff that see it daily a different feel. A tent was erected directly next to the building that served as an extension to the already unique space. From an audio visual standpoint not much was different than last year. We did have to design and install a backdrop for the stage and add a significant amount of uplighting as opposed to last year. The event was an overwhelming success and the pictures will allow AIA to market their building to larger and more prestigious events in the future.
