The highlight of the 2018 corporate holiday party season was when were contacted by Events DC to help with their annual employee appreciation event. Our excitement heightened when we found out the theme was "Fire and Ice". They gave us a full day to turn the convention center’s largest ballroom into a spectacular visionary masterpiece of lighting, lounge furniture and visual effects. The Ice theme was used for dinner while fire was used for the after party. Most of the focus was put on the after party. We used uplighting and gobos to add ambience to the room. We created a fire themed LED video wall for the DJ stage and lounge furniture was placed throughout with fireplaces projected on video monitors. We created a tunnel with pipe and drape and truss to transition form dinner into the after party. At the conclusion of dinner, guests entered the after party to Nellie's "Hot in Herre" while it was snowing in the tunnel.
