CBC weekend for Rayne Events is typically about corporate receptions and after parties. This year we were brought into the expo hall at the Washington DC Convention Center to design and install a social media lounge for expo attendees. It was the first time that the concept was implemented and it was a huge hit. There were two sections of lounge furniture with charging tables and monitors which displayed instagram feeds of CBC hash tags. A DJ played background music while our mirror photo booth kept guests engaged. Finally, a beverage sponsor served from our crystal tufted bar. The CBCF has already booked us for 2020 and is comprising ways to make the social media lounge an even larger impact.
